    Description

    Child's Amber Depression Glass Dinner Plate
    Nursery Rhyme Motif, 8.5" Diameter
    This is a vintage baby or child's dinner plate made out of amber depression-ware glass.  It's divided into three sections and has a wide rim with animals and nursery rhyme phrases engraved in it.  It's marked at the bottom "See-Saw Margery Daw" and at the top with "Where Are You Going My Pretty Maid." There is a lamb, a pig, a cat and a dog, two children on a see-saw, a girl with two pails and a boy holding maybe a small trowel.  Probably made in the 1920-30s, this is close to an official antique.
    The plate is in great condition with no damage of any kind and measures 8 1/2"
