Description
Description:Uses camshaft position sensor is a Hall sensor. When a sensor failure caused the signal is interrupted, the engine will continue to run, but also to start again. However, fuel injection is not completed when the intake valve is opened, but complete (i.e., the fuel injection time increases) before the intake valve closing, the resulting impact on the quality of the gas mixture generated is extremely small and does not affect the overall performance of the engine. At the same time, since the control unit determines not about to reach the compression top dead center of which is a cylinder, so knock adjustment stops. In order to prevent the engine knocking, the control unit will automatically reduce the ignition advance angle.

Function:
The camshaft position sensor uses a Hall sensor. When the sensor fails and the signal is interrupted, the engine will continue to run and start again. However, the fuel injection is not completed when the intake valve is opened, but is completed before the intake valve is closed (that is, the fuel injection time is increased), which has minimal impact on the quality of the mixture and will not affect the overall performance of the engine. At the same time, since the control unit cannot determine which cylinder is about to reach compression top dead center, the knock adjustment will stop. In order to prevent the engine from knocking, the control unit will automatically reduce the ignition advance angle.
Symptoms of Malfunction:
1. It doesn't work well
The camshaft position sensor can determine the ignition sequence. If it is broken, it will cause ignition failure and the engine will not be easy to start.
2. Refueling is hard to add
3. The engine is weak
After the camshaft position sensor is broken, the ECU cannot detect the position change of the camshaft, and cannot correctly detect the position change of the camshaft, which affects the intake and exhaust volume of the near-exhaust system, and then affects the engine performance.
4. Increased fuel consumption
The camshaft position sensor is broken and the computer will inject oil randomly! This causes fuel consumption, vehicle weakness, and speed failure!
5. The car is shaking
6. The fault light keeps on
7. Suddenly turn off when the car is hot
