    Indiana Glass #1002 Salad Bowl & Underplate Ruby Stain Orchid Etch Rare
    This is a very hard to find pattern from Indiana Glass. Identifiable by its scroll handles, it is known as #1002. The blanks were decorated by other companies, including National Silver Deposit, so it is hard to know if the frosted daffodil on ruby flashed background was original to the Indiana factory, or purchased for 3rd party decoration. The set consists of a large salad serving bowl with a flared rim, and a double-handled underplate that could also be used to serve sandwiches or desserts!
    Dimensions
    : The underplate measures 10 1/2" in diameter at the rim. The bowl is 9 3/8" in diameter x 2 3/4" high.
    Marks/Dates
    : Unmarked. Blank with other decoration shown on the Chat About Depression Glass website.
    Condition
    : No chips or cracks. The ruby color has worn in spots, as shown above.
