RV cams are designed for mild street performance and light towing use with good low to mid range torque in the 1800-2600 RPM range and good low to mid range operating power in the 1500-4000 RPM range They will work with stock torque convertors and have a smooth to good idle quality with enough vacuum to run power brakes and accessories. RV cams work best with stock or slightly modified engines with 9.5-1 or lower compression ratio. Small 4 barrel carburetor and small tube headers with dual exhaust will further enhance performance. Modifications may be needed in computer controlled cars.
Recommended valve spring pressure: 105 lbs. closed and 265 lbs. open.
